Hailing from Seattle, WA, Matt Benson is a Director, Production Designer, & Set Decorator currently based out of Atlanta, GA. Matt has an eye for detail and a passion for building worlds. He received a Bachelor of Science in Film & Content Development from Liberty University in 2022. First gaining Art Department experience under Boyce McKinney on The Mulligan, Matt has gone on to work on films and shows such as An Unlikely Angel, Birthright: Outlaw, Kindred, Eleanor's Bench (Season 1), The Forge, and The Florida Wild (Coming 2025). Some of his most notable works include The Florida Wild, Under The Hawthorne Tree, Eleanor’s Bench, and The Music of Eric Zahn, among other projects.

He wrote and directed the award-winning short film The Kite. With over 25 selections and awards from festivals around the globe, is one of the highest-achieving short films in Liberty University's history. It is available to the public at Forerunner Productions.
